Mój tekst przedstawia koncepcję twórczości polskiego neuropsychiatry, Kazimierza Dąbrowskiego (1902-1980), twórcy teorii dezintegracji pozytywnej. Autor ten zakładał, że rozwój psychiczny człowieka ma charakter twórczy. Podmiotem twórczości jest jaźń (osobowość), która jest wynikiem rozwoju pięciu się pięciu typów wrażeń i percepcji – sensytywnej, ruchowej, wyobrażeniowej, intelektualnej i emocjonalnej. Typ wzmożonej pobudliwości psychicznej decyduje o rodzaju twórczości. Niektóre tezy teorii dezintegracji pozytywnej konfrontuję z badaniami mózgu dokonanymi przez Antonio Damasio.

THE COMMON AS A NON-CAPITALIST FORM OF WEALTH. ANTONIO NEGRI’S THESIS ON THE CRISIS OF THE LAW OF VALUE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES The core aspect of Antonio Negri’s political philosophy and the reading of “Marx beyond Marx”, that is the thesis on the crisis of law of value, was analyzed here in details. Thesis that Negri’s altermodern humanism, at least since the end of the 1960’s, is developing in the strict interrelationship with the thesis on the crisis of (...) law of value was proposed. Together with an ontological assumption that we are living in the era of real subsumption of society under capital it creates the conceptual matrix of the project of the common. The main parts of this text explored the following problems: a) the context of the formulation of the thesis on the crisis of law of value; b) the meaning of the law of value in the Marx’s theory; c) Marxist debate on the status of law of value in socialism with reference to its usefulness for the projects of the alternative to capitalism; d) core aspects of the thesis; e) its consequences for the new theories of exploitation, antagonism and value for the present state of the development of capitalism. The aim of the text is to show the political meaning of the thesis of on the crisis of the law of value. (shrink)

W latach 40 XIX wieku Luigi Taparelli i Antonio Rosmini wprowadzili do publicznego obiegu termin „sprawiedliwość społeczna”. Od tamtego czasu znaczenie tego pojęcia znacznie się poszerzyło. W tej części wskazane zostały utożsamienia sprawiedliwości społecznej ze sprawiedliwością wyrównawczą (w odmianach: karzącej, naprawczej i wymiennej). Niektóre z tego rodzaju identyfikacji zakładają istnienie podmiotów kolektywnych. Występują one jako czasowe bądź przestrzenne grupy społeczne i kohorty.

We realize the Jiang-Su algebra, all UHF algebras, and the hyperfinite II1factor as Fraïssé limits of suitable classes of structures. Moreover by means of Fraïssé theory we provide new examples of AF algebras with strong homogeneity properties. As a consequence of our analysis we deduce Ramsey-theoretic results about the class of full-matrix algebras.

We prove a strong dichotomy for the number of ultrapowers of a given model of cardinality ≤ 2ℵ0 associated with nonprincipal ultrafilters on ℕ. They are either all isomorphic, or else there are 22ℵ0 many nonisomorphic ultrapowers. We prove the analogous result for metric structures, including C*-algebras and II1 factors, as well as their relative commutants and include several applications. We also show that the CAF001-algebra [Formula: see text] always has nonisomorphic relative commutants in its ultrapowers associated with nonprincipal ultrafilters (...) on ℕ. (shrink)

We use modified Tsirelson's spaces to prove that there is no finite basis for turbulent Polish group actions. This answers a question of Hjorth and Kechris 329–346; Hjorth, Mathematical Surveys and Monographs, American Mathematical Society, Providence, RI, 2000, Section 3.4.3).

The purpose of this communication is to survey a theory of liftings, as developed in author's thesis. The first result in this area was Shelah's construction of a model of set theory in which every automorphism of P/ Fin, where Fin is the ideal of finite sets, is trivial, or inother words, it is induced by a function mapping integers into integers. Soon afterwards, Velickovic, was able to extract from Shelah's argument the fact that every automorphism of P/ Fin with (...) a Baire-measurable lifting has to be trivial. This, for instance, implies that in Solovay's model all automorphisms are trivial. Later on, an axiomatic approach was adopted and Shelah's conclusion was drawn first from the Proper Forcing Axiom and then from the milder Open Coloring Axiom and Martin's Axiom. Both shifts from the quotient P/ Fin to quotients over more general ideals P/I and from automorphisms to arbitrary ho-momorphisms were made by Just in a series of papers, motivated by some problems in algebra and topology. We consider various quotients of the C*-algebra of bounded operators on a nonseparable Hilbert space, and prove in some cases that, assuming some restriction of the Generalized Continuum Hypothesis, there are many outer automorphisms.

We conducted an on-line survey to investigate the professor’s idea of “morality” and then to compare their moral thinking at the abstract level with their moral thinking in the real life situations by sampling 257 professors from the University of Novi Sad. We constructed questionnaire based on related theoretical ethical concepts. Our results show (after we performed exploratory factor analysis) that the professor’s idea of “morality” consists of the three moral thinking patterns which are simultaneously activated during the process of (...) their abstract moral thinking. We have identified these patterns in the following manner: deontological, formal and subjective pattern. In addition, our results show that of the three, the subjective pattern is more activated than the other two during their process of the moral thinking at the abstract level. We also discovered that there is a statistically significant difference between professor’s moral thinking patterns activation level at the abstract level and their moral thinking patterns activation level in the real life situation. Since the Restitution of Land Rights Act 22 of 1994 came into operation, courts have come to attach considerable significance to historian expert testimony when ruling on land claims that made it to court. Therefore, a universal approach had to be adopted. Over the years the Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court have developed tried and tested methodologies to aid the courts in determining the weight and admissibility of a witness' testimony. In the Salem Commonage case, both the Land (...) Claims Court and the majority of the Supreme Court of Appeal deviated from these precedents by adopting arguably a broader interpretation of the Act than intended. The case is unique in the sense that the dispute involves a commonage that was subdivided via a court order in 1940, resulting in the removal of the remaining black African population from that land. The question therefore was whether or not this group of people fulfilled the requirements for a valid claim as set out in the Act. The Land Claims Court and Supreme Court of Appeal felt that it had. The landowners applied for leave to appeal to the Constitutional Court. The application was granted, but in his judgment, Edwin Cameron agreed with the rationale of both courts, and held that there was a valid claim. This was despite the fact that the testimony of the claimants' 'star witness', Msile Nondzube, was heavily criticised by the landowners as well as a Supreme Court of Appeal judge. The Constitutional Court emphasised that the Act was an extraordinary piece of legislation and had to be interpreted in such a way so as to address the injustices of the past. This included provisions of the Act which dealt with how oral and expert evidence would be dealt with. (shrink)
